State Superintendent of Public Instruction Elizabeth Burmaster and Superintendent-Elect Tony Evers will attend a special School Board meeting tonight to deliver will the 2009-2010 Corrective Action Plan regarding the District’s DIFI (District Identified for Improvement) status under the No Child Left Behind Act.
The plan basically outlines what the Department of Public Instruction is requiring the district to do to get off the DIFI list.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. (not the usual 6:30 p.m.) in the auditorium of the central services building, 5225 W. Vliet St.
